This is a 1970 genuine postcard printed by John and Yoko as part of their campaign to end the Vietnam War. They took out newspaper ads in major papers and rented billboards in major cities all over the world. This ORIGINAL postcard is matted with a copy of a photograph featuring John & Yoko and The Plastic Ono Supergroup backstage at The Peace For Christmas Concert to benefit UNICEF December 15th, 1969 at the Lyceum Ballroom in London with several of them holding the postcards. The photo includes John Lennon, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Delaney Bramlett, Klaus Voorman, Jim Gordon, Keith Moon and Alan White, Billy Preston, Bonnie Bramlett, Bobby Keyes, Jim Price, Bobby Whitlock, Carl Radle, "Legs" Larry Smith (from the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band) and Dino Danelli (the drummer from The Young Rascals). Postcard measures 5.75 x 7.875". This piece comes custom matted and framed in a 1" gloss black frame.
